Zac Meakin
Who is Zac?
Leeds-born Zac Meakin is a McLaren GT3 Junior Driver with one goal in his sights: winning Le Mans.
Zac started karting in 2018 before moving into cars with the Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship in 2021. He then stepped up to British GT, and in 2024 won the GT4 title with Optimum Motorsport in a McLaren Artura.
In 2025 he moved up to GT3, racing a McLaren 720S GT3 in GT Open with Optimum Motorsport, alongside a guest round of GT World Challenge Europe in Barcelona with Greystone GT. He also competed in McLaren Trophy Europe with SMC Motorsport. For 2026 he is racing in GT Open with Greystone GT.
Away from the car, Zac is a licensed coach who mentors young drivers and helps the next generation of talent reach their potential.
