Who we share it with
We share personal data only where we need to, and only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host (Netlify), our newsletter provider (Mailchimp), Google Analytics, email and file storage providers, and accounting software. They act on our instructions.
- Freelancers who work on client projects with us, such as photographers, videographers and designers, where they need the information to do the work.
- Professional advisers such as our accountants and lawyers.
- Authorities where the law requires it.
We will never pass your details to a brand, team or sponsor without your agreement.
International transfers
Some of our service providers, including Netlify, Mailchimp and Google, store data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the protections required by UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and pitches that don't lead to work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the length of our relationship and up to 6 years afterwards, for legal and accounting reasons.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the link in any email.
- Website analytics: as set out in our Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct it or delete it
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
- ask for your data in a portable format

To use any of these rights, email hello@nexusmotorsport.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and reputable, secure service providers. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
